Paul is managing director of Wellington, leading the company.
Having been in the construction industry since he left school in 1982, Paul’s story perfectly illustrates the ‘people development’ ethos at Wellington. He joined the company in 1990 as an apprentice carpenter, and worked his way up through the posts of site manager, contracts manager and commercial director, before taking the reins as managing director in 2012.
Married with three children, Paul enjoys running and horology, with a particular interest in 1960s watches. He is a keen football fan, holding a season ticket for Norwich City, and supporting Arsenal ‘on the quiet’. He is a keen cook, with visitors to his home familiar with his two ‘restaurants’, ‘Pitch’ and ‘Pitch Pizzeria’.
Paul has recently rekindled his love of Vespas with an all-original 1969 imported example from Italy, the first of many planned purchases.
