Overview
A stunning mixed tenure development in the north Norfolk village of Edgefield saw 12 affordable homes - nine for rental and three for shared ownership - built alongside ten open market homes.
Using traditional local materials such as flint, the development has provided much-needed new homes for the village, which is in an area where high second home ownership has meant many local people struggle to find a home they can afford.
The partnership between Broadland Housing and Wellington is an excellent example of how a mixed tenure development can be viable even in an area where there is a paucity of available land and traditionally high housing costs.
